8th and 9th July 2016 - WomenZone Surf Camp

Has been running for more than 10 years and has become an important fixture on the social calendar. This year it will be the 8th and 9th of July. Located on the beautiful Gower penninsular, WZSC is a great weekend of surf, laughs, camping and women. Don't worry if you're not a surfer - there are plenty of people who come just to enjoy the spectacular Llangennith beach, the good company, the impromptu volleyball games and the Saturday night bonfire. It is a women only camp for lesbians held on the popular Hillend Campsite, so although we have our own field the toilets are shared with the rest of the site. There aren't formal activities arranged but surf lessons are available from the Welsh Surfing Federation (located in the carpark) and there is always something going on! Dogs are not allowed, sorry. To find out more have a look at the facebook group - feel free to ask any questions. Click to buy tickets - they are £33-£53 for the two nights

Proud to be Mums
are a new lesbian parenting support group. We meet up on the last Sunday of each month in Cardiff. We are a social group of lesbians who have children and also lesbians who are trying to become mums - we meet for coffee and a chat or for a stroll around the park etc with our children. We are a supportive network - and one of the major aims why we set up the group is so that our children can have a support network/community - so our children can see that there are many other children who have two mummies. website
