Exeter Coming Out Support Group
Coming Out is a life-changing journey that begins when you first realize
you are, or may be, a lesbian. It can be exciting and exhilarating, but
also frightening and confusing and the fear of telling family and friends
- or even just acknowledging it to yourself - can feel overwhelming.
The Coming Out group will give you the opportunity to meet and talk with
other women in the same situation, supported by a skilled and experienced
group leader who has made that journey herself.
The group will offer total confidentiality – a place where you
can share your experiences and the strategies that have helped you to
cope
and move forward. Depending upon the needs of the group, topics could
include: coming out to yourself, coming out to family and friends (including
male
partners and children), coming out at work and anything else that is
important to you.
If you think you might be interested in attending and would like to find
out more, contact Vicky on 01392 201012 or vicky(at)intercomtrust.org.uk.
