Lets Get Bristol Talking! monday 9th July 4.30-7.30pm The Watershed, Harbourside, Bristol.

A Bristol Local Involvement Network event in conjunction with the LGBTQ emotional wellness programme

-Exploring the issues and concerns of mental health service users from the LGBT community-
Bristol LINk gives everyone a chance to say what they think about their local health and social care services and investigates specific issues of concern to the community. We aim to feedback what people have said so that things can change fo the better. We use our power to hold services to account and get results.
We are holding an event during Pride week for members of the LGBT community who have accessed mental health services.
Our aim is to give LGBT service users the opportunity to share their experiences, highlight issues and concerns and raise awareness with a view to influencing change.
With guest speakers, focus group discussions and open debate, this event aims to give the LGBT community a voice and a say on how services should operate to meet their mental health needs.
This event is for LGBT service users as we would like to hear from people who have direct experience of the issues, know anybody who has or simply have an interest in this topic.
Commissioners, Mental Health Practitioners, Clinicians, LGBT Health Workers, Equality Leads and other healthcare professionals with an interest in this area are also welcome to join us.
There is no need to book and admission is free, please just turn up on the day, refreshments will be provided.
