Indigo - Thurs 17th November

Indigo put some warmth into winter with sun-kissed pop from Bristol’s Rowena.
Lead singer with Cue Fanfare, and former front woman of the successful Santa Dog, Rowena has headlined at venues all over the world including London’s Luminaire, Toronto & Paris. She’s also made it onto Radio 1 and Radio 2 thanks to a fan named Steve Lamacq.

Frequently compared to Blondie, St Etienne and Chrissie Hynde, Rowena is widely regarded as the best frontwoman in Bristol. And as if that wasn’t enough, when she’s not on stage, trained  illustrator Rowena also runs a successful design label Ruby Red Rose.

Indigo aims to showcase the most talented female performers in the UK, so we’re very pleased to host a special solo set from one of South West’s best musicians.

“Infectious & Uplifting”   Bristol Evening Post

“Cue Fanfare combine a shared love of taut melody & a heady mix of woven chiming guitars with a pop sensibility. Enigmatic, intelligent pop with great tunes"  Sounds XP

This November event runs to Indigo’s usual relaxed format, with hosts on hand to welcome new attendees. We saw over hundred attend our recent comedy event, so arrive early to guarantee entry.
