Would you like to be a radio presenter?

Your Community Needs Your Voice!

Do you enjoy talking to people? Would you like to do something that benefits the LGBT community in Bristol? Would you like your voice to be heard on the radio? Are you free Monday lunchtimes during May and June?

We are looking for an enthusiastic person or perhaps more to present a LGBT radio show on Bristol Community radio.

No technical experience is needed and you will get lots of help from the team who have been campaigning for the last 8 months to get this show on air.

We have been offered a daytime slot of 20-25 minutes on Monday lunchtimes starting at around 12.30. We are hoping to start broadcasting on 24th May and run for 6-8 weeks. The programme is planned as a general news, information and what’s-on slot with music. We will be providing a pre-recorded newscast and can provide other pre-recorded items or scripts if you wish and help with getting guests into the studio. If you want you can arrange your own guests and playlist.

We are hoping that once the lunchtime run finishes we will be moved to an evening slot so we can involve even more of the community.

If you would like to know more please email Mary via listings(at)missinglesbians.co.uk Tell us a little bit about yourself and we will get back to you.
