MUTiNY on the Move - Bristol Gay Club Night new weekend venue

MUTiNY celebrates its first birthday in style. By popular demand, Club
MUTiNY, one of the largest independent gay-friendly nights in the South
West, is moving to a weekend night and a new venue.

After a successful year aboard Thekla, MUTiNY ups anchor and takes the
party to Lab in Broad Street.

‘We’ve had a brilliant year on the ship. The MUTiNY crew worked hard to
bring spectacular décor, creative visuals, fire and fun to the midweek.
We’ve built a fantastic following who’ve run with our themes (see the snaps
of Mad Hatters from our Wonderland event) and helped shape the night. We
were always looking to take the night to a weekend – we’ve been getting so
many requests to move. Now the time feels right, we can’t wait to get
Amy Wilson, MUTiNY promoter

MUTiNY@Lab launches on Fri 7 May with special guest DJs Mr SteveBob
(Pressure, Skins parties) and Rough Trade’s Wilder. MUTiNY residents Riot
Paula and DJ Gareth split the two floors with their eclectic mix of
Retro-pop and Motown vs Electro, Indie & Hip-Hop.

‘We loved the independent, friendly feel and visual appeal of Lab. The
sound system’s great, and the décor will delight and bemuse even the most
jaded of clubbers. We’ll also bring something new to Lab. Our night
attracts a diverse, gay-friendly crowd including nine-to-fivers, students,
fashionistas, Primark royalty, friendly eccentrics and urban professionals.
MUTiNY’s vibrant, it’s friendly, it welcomes everyone with open arms and a
sloppy kiss of the air!’
Dr Anna Rutherford, MUTiNY Promoter

The MUTiNY@Lab launch party is also a Fundraiser for Bristol Pride. A
limited number of advance tickets will be made available in the lead up to
the event from the Pride Website and Bristol Ticket Shop.
