Female networking group launches on Wed 28 April @ Goldbrick House

Members Bristol ♀ is an informal networking group where professional lesbian, bi & queer women of the South West can congregate and share ideas, laughter, time and experience.
We know that there are thousands of professional women in the South West who yearn for a friendly space where they can chat to like-minded folk. Currently there’s a shortage of opportunities for women to connect where they’re not shouting over Kylie on the social scene, or over the shoulders of suits in the business networking environment.

‘It’s not about grey-suits, fast cars, bonuses and golf handicaps. It’s about genuinely connecting with people for both business and social gain. We’re increasingly encountering women who are creative, professional and dynamic, but they often describe their experience of mixed networking events as unfriendly, male-dominated occasions. In this atmosphere many opportunities are missed.’
Suzanne Doyle, Director Members Bristol ♀

‘Members Bristol ♀ creates a welcoming space, in the plush and cosy surrounds of Goldbrick House, where women can socialise and where ideas can be shared. We’re creating an atmosphere where lesbian, bi and queer women can connect and realise their potential. We also suspect that many of the best ideas are conceived glass in hand!’
Amy Wilson, Director Members Bristol ♀

Launching in April 2010, Members Bristol ♀ offers relaxed business, social and networking opportunities. Established and run by an all-female team, we will be looking to supplement the drinks socials with high quality events and high profile speakers & performers.

All attendees receive a glass of prosecco upon arrival.
