The Vagina Monologues dives into the mystery, humor, pain, power, wisdom, outrage and excitement buried in women’s experiences.

Having played to sold out venues across Bristol last year, V-Day returns in 2009 to bring the Vagina Monologues back to Circomedia, and to make its debut at Bristol Old Vic. Performed by a group of women from across Bristol these performances will be raising money for
Survive and One25. 100% of ticket sales go to charity.
What is V Day?
V-Day is a global movement to stop violence against women and children. V-Day generates broader attention for the fight to stopviolence against women, including rape, domestic abuse, female genital mutilation and sexual slavery. Last year over 1150 communities in 119 countries hosted V-Day benefits raising funds and awareness towards ending violence against women. Bristol joined this global movement last year and the group is going from strength to strength. All proceeds from performances will go towards the vital work that Survive
and One25 does across the Bristol area.
